What does a house cost in Curaçao? The short answer: the median asking price of a house for sale is $805,000 today. Half of the houses ask less, half ask more, and nine out of ten ask between $225,000 and $3,375,000. These numbers come from the 450+ houses with a price on our map, which brings together the listings of 45+ realtors on the island. Below you find the same numbers for apartments, building lots and rentals, and for each area.
Prices per property type

What these numbers mean
These are asking prices: what realtors have online today, not what houses finally sell for. A median is the middle price, so a few very expensive villas can't pull it up the way they would pull up an average. All prices are in US dollars, like everywhere on our site, and we recalculate them every time we update the site (last update: 16 October 2026). What comes on top of the price
When you buy, expect one-time buying costs of typically 5-7% of the price: transfer tax (usually 4%), notary fees and a land registry fee.
