Blue Bay is a beach on Curaçao's west coast, next to the former fishing village of Sint Michiel, about 10 km north-west of the centre of Willemstad. The beach is known for its crystal-clear water, good for snorkelling and diving, and there are restaurants on the beach and at the golf course. In Dutch the bay is called Blauwbaai: the name goes back to a plantation called Blaauw that used to lie nearby.

Next door, Sint Michiel has grown from a quiet fishing village into a neighbourhood with hotels and holiday resorts, yet by area it is the largest neighbourhood of Willemstad and still thinly populated. Near the village lies a large salt pan that is known for its flamingos.
