We were referred to Rick Seisveld by our friends who purchased a property in Blue Bay. Having purchased property in the US and Canada, we were not new to buying property but were new to buying in Curacao. What I appreciated most about Rick is unlike a lot of other agents, he's not pushy or fake. He's not someone who tries to talk you into every property you want to see just so he can make a sale, he can see the big picture and wants to develop a long term relationship. He did a great job explaining the process and helped us through all the steps. When there was something he didn't know, he researched it and got back with the answer instead of pretending to know everything and saying the wrong thing. Even after the sale, there have been a few questions and he's still just as quick to reply to me and assist. If you have ever purchased a house before, especially one you're not living in year round, you know how important this is. Joost Houtsma who is the Broker/Owner was equally outstanding to work with. He was terrific in assisting me with tax questions and mortgage guidance. The process for people that are used to buying in the US or Canada is different here and things don't always move as fast as we are used to with real estate transactions and Joost and Rick were great in their communication with me, the lawyer and the bank to move things along as fast as possible. Just like Rick, Joost is real and not pushy/fake. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the experience and would absolutely work with RE/MAX BonBini again. Chris
